A short stay in bed & breakfast to experience the charm of the “floating city” and its Lagoon.
DAILY PROGRAM
Day 1: ARRIVAL
Arrival at Venice airport, welcome by our English speaking tour leader and departure by “vaporetto” to the centre of Venice. Luggage transport to the hotel by a transport company. Arrival in the surroundings of the Santa Lucia district and short walk to reach the hotel. Accommodation in a 3* sup. hotel such as Hotel Nazionale. Free time for dinner (not included). Overnight stay.
Day 2: VENICE
After breakfast, departure for a day dedicated to a guided walking tour of the center of Venice. In the morning, the Unusual Venice, through the lanes and along the canals, to reach Piazza San Marco, with stops in the most typical and unknown corners of the city. As an alternative (optional, not included) you can visit the School of San Rocco, or other sites along the promenade. Free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, discovery of the most famous monuments and places of the City of the Doges: Piazza San Marco and its majestic Basilica (external views), the suggestive canals, the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs. In the late afternoon, leisure time or chance to arrange additional visits (optional, not included), such as the Doge’s Palace, a gondola tour, visit of an atelier dedicated to the production of traditional venetian masks and/or the production of typical “gondola”. Back to the hotel by “vaporetto” along the Grand Canal, passing under the Rialto Bridge and bordering all the most famous palaces of Venice. Free dinner (not included). Overnight stay.
Day 3: VENICE
Breakfast at the hotel, and free day for a personal discovery of the city or chance to arrange additional visits (optional, not included), for example the suggested half-day excursion to the Lagoon Islands, including Murano and its glassworks, and Burano with its lace workshops. See supplement. Lunch and dinner free (both not included). Overnight stay.
Day 4: DEPARTURE
After breakfast, leisure time according to the flight schedule. Meeting with our tour escort and transfer to Venice Airport by vaporetto, leaving from the pier nearby the hotel. Luggage transfer to the airport by a transport company. Check-in assistance, end of our services.
The price includes:
• 3 nights accommodation on B/B basis in mentioned 3* sup. Hotel Nazionale, in double room
• The service of a tour escort from/to the airport at the arrival and at the departure
• 2 local guide services in Venice - 2h each one - (day 2)
• The transfers by boat airport/hotel (day1) and hotel/airport (day 4)
• Luggage transport service at the hotels (1 piece per person)
• The public boat along the Grand Canal (day 2)
• VAT as currently in force 10% for hotels, 5% for maritime transport, 22% other services
